Creeper and Fish

Not being strong swimmers, Creepers prefer to avoid deep water, but they do occasionally need to cross a river or pond. In which case, they partially inflate their neck pouches to keep their head above the surface.
Myriad species of fish live in the wetland regions, many specializing to feed on a single type of the abundant plantlife (the free-floating lilypad among them), while all of them are able to see 360 degrees around them with their ringed eye-slit. Most fish species are almost indistinguishable from each other as adults, but clownfish stand out with their vibrant coloration and paddle-like fins. They are mildly toxic, tasting bitter to some predators and making others sick when eaten; this keeps the overall species relatively safe.
