Odin Surface Biomes

Odin is a rocky planet, a little larger than Mars, that supports a myriad of alien ecosystems on its surface as well as in its dense atmosphere.

Color: Biome (sub-regions) characteristics
Red: Detris Bogs (Forested Areas, Squelch Clearings, Waterways, Scaffolds) A good supply of fresh water and nutrient-rich soil [thanks to what little volcanic activity there is] supports the greatest variety and numbers of organisms on Odin.
Brown: Bug Plains (No sub-regions) Vast open areas dusted in a peculiar biological "snow" that only a few species are able to feed on [along with their predators].
Gray: Labyrinths (Canyon Floors/River-Pools, Cliffsides, Mesa-tops) The eroded, plateau/mesa-like remnants of mountain ranges that existed when Odin's tectonic activity was higher millions of years ago.
Blue: Seas (Coastal, Surface, Opens, Seabed) Large bodies of saltwater
